Offender Management
Digital transformation of provincial prison system, encompassing 18 prisons and aimed at benefitting approximately 5000 end users. This initiative marks a pivotal move towards modernizing and enhancing the technological infrastructure within these correctional facilities, aiming to improve overall efficiency, security, and communication processes.
The Challenge

Transforming a provincial prison system across 18 facilities and 5,000 users involved overcoming outdated systems and inefficiencies in offender management. Secure communication, real-time data exchange, and operational oversight were lacking. Integrating Dynamics 365 with legacy systems was key to maintaining continuity, while Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions ensured seamless information flow. The system also needed to meet strict security standards, particularly for high-profile cases, while supporting critical functions like visitation, task, and inventory management. The goal was to build a scalable, secure solution to enhance efficiency and communication.
